We have a new section for Children in the apron competition this year.

2012 Categories:

1: Heritage - eg. Hessian, flour bags or calico. All techniques & materials to fit the Heritage theme. These must be new aprons made in an old style.

2: Functional - as the name suggests. Must be a fully useable/functional apron.

3: Decorative - there's no need think "practical" in this section. You can use any type of decoration; this one is a lot of fun.

Prize money for each of these sections - 1st $100.00, 2nd $60.00 & 3rd $40.00.

1: Children's - for entrants under 15 years of age.

Prize money for the childrens section: - 1st $50.00 2nd $25.00 & 3rd $15.00.

Did you miss out on the Apron Competition ? Our Starter Pack Competition is back:

All you need is a $10 entry fee, that will give you the basics of a calico apron and then you can pick your embellishments from the bag you get to make the most popular apron.

Kits will be available from the our festival office from Friday 28th September 2012. Fees payable at office.

Winner for this section will be chosen by popular vote over the festival weekend.
