The
Australian Camp Oven Festival is just
around the corner, which is just as well
because the response to this year’s
festival has been overwhelming. Judging
by the enquiries and bookings you guys
think that October can’t come soon
enough!
The entertainment line up for this
year’s festival is going to be really
exciting - but I can’t tell you too much
just yet, so you’ll just have to wait a
little bit longer to find out who will
be performing at the festival. We have a
great line up for the Poet’s Breakfast,
the main stage will have some wonderful
entertainers and we’re sure you will
enjoy the night time band.
We have received a lot of enquiries
about the camp oven cooking workshop and
yes there definitely will be a workshop
this year. We haven’t finalised the
details just yet so watch this space for
information on times, booking details
etc... We have also added more
demonstrations over the weekend of the
festival.

Enquiries about the Camp Oven Cooking
Competition have been rolling in so we
are hoping that we will have a large
number of entries in this year’s cooking
competition. The menu is challenging but
it should be good fun, find the menu on
this site under forms/cooking
competition.
The Australian Camp Oven Festival Office
will open in May. So if you’re
travelling through Millmerran be sure to
pop in and chat to the wonderful
volunteers. We’ve got some great new
merchandise items for sale and we are
hoping to have the 3rd edition of the
cookbook ready for sale soon.
Office will be open Monday – Friday 10am
– 2pm
The town of Millmerran is certainly keen
to welcome everyone to our neck of the
woods and there will be lots of things
for you to see and do when you come to
Millmerran in the week before the
festival. More news soon.
